Saving the best until last? An understanding of what energy is and why it is important is pretty fundamental to any accurate understanding of the world around us and the universe in which we live. This course is also going to be really useful to anyone thinking of studying any higher level science courses (Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Earth and Space) in the future.

Assessment will be through an internal investigation AS92045 Demonstrate understanding of a physical phenomenon through investigation. There will also be the option to attempt an end of year external exam AS92047 Demonstrate understanding of a physical system using energy concepts
