Description

Forensic Science - Every contact leaves a trace.

Have you ever watched a detective/police tv show or movie and thought that one day you wanted to do that?

Well here is your opportunity! In this course we will explore different types of evidence that might be found at a crime scene and how forensic scientists use this information to help solve crimes. You will get the opportunity to become a forensic scientist by working collaboratively to analyse crime scene evidence such as fingerprints, bite marks, Blood, and DNA. You will also practice writing up a crime scene report with your findings.

We will also spend time looking at Forensic Science within the context of Aotearoa New Zealand and the Māori world view.
