Description
What makes you angry? Do you ever feel oppressed? Would you riot over injustice? This course will explore the relationship between protest and freedom. We will investigate different approaches to collective action and social change. From the MeToo movement to Black Lives Matter, from the Stonewall Riots to Occupy Wall Street, we will investigate a number of significant events from history to try to understand differing perspectives and the reasons for taking action.
