Our park will include:
a native rongoā - Māori medicinal garden
a bike track with jumps
a walking trail
treehouses and platforms
picnic seating and planter boxes
a hydro-electric power plant simulator!
an educational playground with cool equipment e.g. a solar powered Hamster Wheel, kinetic energy for lighting
Students can decide! Plan, create and build your own project with the guidance and support of CCC Park Rangers and City Care.
CITY CARE will also provide expertise, and information on their training and apprenticeship programmes from engineers, project managers, quantity surveyors, tradies, traffic management, labourers, plant operators, and administrative roles throughout the country.
This would suit the following students:

hands-on learners - future Engineers, Tradies, Project Managers
would like to experience working alongside experts in their field and be able to learn how to use their equipment/tools of the trade
