Welcome to Little English. This term, we'll start with a film study. This will involve sampling a bunch of films before we then decide as a class which one to study in depth.
From here, the class will involve elaborate discussions about concepts that we stumble upon in our watching, and lots of activities related to the film (and maybe short films!) we study and our discussions. You can expect to engage in writing activities, reading activities, researching things, games and absorbing heaps of interesting material like podcasts, scientific studies, and videos.
You'll be expected to discuss things with us, and share your thoughts on what we cover and students that do this will be the ones that get the most out of this course. (Oh no, talking! But just let it happen, because it's not that bad, and you'll be all the richer for it!)
There will be a strict no devices rule in this class, unless specifically required, so please make sure you'll be able to manage yourself with this in mind.
