Surprised by Joy

This English course is an exploration of texts that celebrate the joy that can be found in day to day life. Texts will include short films, poetry and stories. You are welcome to share your favourite texts with the class, as well as working with the texts provided. You will be offered the opportunity to complete draft writing for your folio (Achievement Standard 2.4 6 credits) and work on an assessment that looks at the connections between a variety of texts, under the theme 'Surprised by Joy' (Achievement Standard 2.7 4 credits).
