WHAOWHIA TE KETE - Fill the basket...
For those who wish to learn the basics of Te Reo Māori come and learn in a fun way for three weeks. We will continue to learn new words and look at using them in basic Māori sentences. We will also look at Tikanga (Culture) through storytelling.
We will continue to USE Te Reo Māori kupu/words in rerenga kōrero/sentences;
- Karakia,
- Whakataukī,
- Pepeha; hapū &/or iwi, whānau, parents, siblings,
- Tauparapara,
- Mihimihi,
- Revise basic words fluently.
Whaowhia te kete mātauranga. - Fill the basket of knowledge.
When you stop learning, you will stop growing. Becoming mature not only entails your age, but it should also speak highly of how much you have learned through the years. Seize every chance to learn. Read a book. Listen to people. learn te reo. There are a lot of ways to learn and life is but a huge classroom.
