This is a Level 4/5 Class aimed at students years 7 - 9.
Over the course of three weeks, learners will embark on a creative journey through three distinct painting projects, each designed to explore different artistic concepts and techniques.
In week 1, they will delve into the fundamentals of perspective by creating vibrant cityscapes, learning to use one-point and two-point perspective to bring urban scenes to life.
Week 2 will immerse students in the world of abstract art, where they will express emotions through colour and texture, experimenting with various painting techniques to create dynamic and expressive abstract compositions.
In the final week, students will dive into the bold and graphic world of Pop Art, crafting eye-catching portraits inspired by the iconic style of the movement, using bright colours and playful patterns to create their own unique works.
Each project is tailored to build both technical skills and creative confidence, resulting in a well-rounded and engaging art experience.
Students will need their own art book and folder to keep their work in.
