Tāhuhu Kōrero Toi | Intro to History of Art and Design

This course is an introduction to the study of the history of art and design. The focus for term 1 will be a study of the History of Architecture. Students will explore the development of architectural styles over the years from ancient structures through classical architecture up to modern and contemporary designs. Students interested in art and, architecture are encouraged to join this class. A significant amount of class time will be spent researching and drawing so please come prepared (stationary will be provided).
