This term we will be exploring making artwork using a variety of different methods and materials, focussing on… Mixed Media!
Know what that is? You will by the end of this course.
Interested? I could be quite challenging but that all depends on YOU!!!
This class is for:
Year 7-9’s
Students who want to learn about art.
Students who want to challenge themselves.
You will need a 1A8 unruled exercise book or scrapbook, (or similar) AND an A2 Art Envelope to store your work. (Available from Warehouse Stationery for $1.40 & $4 respectively.)
Be prepared to clean up after mahi.
No phones or devices needed. This is a practical class.
Outcomes:
1. Students will examine and apply the basic skills of painting, drawing and composition and mixed media artwork.
2. Students will learn about mixed media art making and be able to discuss their work and their choices.
3. Students will make their own mixed media art works individually and collaboratively.
4. Students will be self managing and resourced and ready for each session.
