Do you ever wonder what influences the health and wellbeing of people? What strategies can enhance health equity? In this course you will have the opportunity to think critically about what influences the health and wellbeing of people. However, we start to think bigger than the individual and explore the social determinants of health such as income, education, and access to services.
This term promises an engaging exploration of how the social determinants of health connect to, and influence, the mental health of new Zealanders. We then explore strategies to build individual and collective resilience.
Our efforts culminate with an internal assessment at the term's conclusion.
