Social Studies - Who are we and where do we come from?

In this kaupapa we will look at social studies through the lens of our own experiences. We will look at where we come from individually, and also as a city and country. Multiple experiences from our diverse community will be explored, and the direction of content will be ākonga led where possible. This course will be interwoven with Te ao Māori, with a view to understand our local iwi and hapū, and their history in Ōtautahi and Waitaha. A device is a must for this course, as our work and research will be taking place online.
