This course is specifically designed for the learning of and improving practical digital art skills. Through the use of some pretty hardcore software and equipment, you can expect to improve your digital art skills and set yourself up for progress in this area! Across the year, we'll engage in a bunch of different activities and you'll pop out with an impressive digital art portfolio, which will be show improvement in your art skills, but also competence in working digitally!
Some things we'll cover:
- how to use Photoshop
- how to use Illustrator
- designing logos and branding for an imaginary company
- how to use drawing tablets
- photo-editing and compositing images
This class will involve hands-on, focused learning as we work through some specific skill sets. Because of this, there will be a strict no devices rule in this class, unless specifically required - please make sure you'll be able to manage yourself with this in mind!
