Description

When we look at the night's sky, we are looking into the past at stars as they used to be. Some are big, bright and stable; some have changed size and colour over time; and some that you see died millions of years ago and are no longer there! This course explores how we use scientific methods to learn about how big and how far away some stars are, why some stars explode and others create black holes, and about how planets and groups of planets are established and move with respect to each other.

You will need a book to write in, a pen, and a ruler.
