We learnt about sustainability and biophysical environments in term one. Let's move on to people, and taking action for a sustainable future.
This term we spend the first three weeks:
- Revising human rights;
- Defining social, environmental and climate justice; and
- Introducing some economic models.
For the rest of term, you will be supported to:
- Plan;
- Implement; and
- Evaluate a personal action for a socially and environmentally sustainable future.
You can work on your own or as part of a group. Your actions may run into term three. That's ok. If you have done an action before, you know how this works. If you haven't, and you're feeling nervous. Don't! You will be supported through the process, given lots of ideas and shown lots of examples. Give it a go. You will be pleased you did.
