Description
This course is for serious musicians, (of all ages) working at level 6 of the curriculum and above. You should have at least a couple of years of experience on your instrument. If you're not sure, please come and talk to Matt in 3.7 before you sign up to this class. It will involve some theory (how to improvise, how to read chord charts etc.) and a great deal of ensemble playing. This course is designed to run all year - if you are wanting to only enroll for a term or two, again come talk to me before you sign up. We will be developing skills and repertoire to take part in gigs and competitions later in the year.
