Learning Outcomes for this class:
Students will design and construct at least two original 3D sculptures using a variety of materials such as wire, cardboard, clay, fabric, and found objects.
Students will demonstrate knowledge of basic sculpture techniques including joining, balancing, and supporting structures in mixed media artworks.
Students will use the creative process to plan, experiment, and revise their ideas, showing development from concept to completed sculpture.
Students will describe and reflect on their own and others’ artworks, using visual arts vocabulary to discuss materials, techniques, and meaning.
