English for Designers

This course is an English course with an arty flavour. We'll read things, watch things, discuss things and be very creative in our process! You can expect to design things like book covers, logos, visualise and recreate lots of other stuff! We'll look at some short stories, and maybe some short films to eventually deep dive into heaps of interesting ideas and discussions. Think English, but in the arty-est way possible!

You'll be expected to participate in these discussions, and share your thoughts on what we cover - students that do this will be the ones that get the most out of this course. (Oh no, talking! But just let it happen, because it's not that bad, and you'll be all the richer for it!)

There will be a strict no devices rule in this class, unless specifically required, so please make sure you're able to manage yourself with this in mind.
