Description
In this five-week course, students will develop their own art projects while exploring painting, printmaking, papier mâché, or other media of their choice. If you have an art idea you would like to investigate we will try to support you to create it. Alongside art room time, students will take weekly visits to art galleries or public art spaces to gain inspiration, broaden their understanding of art, and connect their own work to the wider creative world. With teacher support, each student will plan, create, and complete at least one major finished artwork over the five weeks.
The focus is on creativity, self-direction, and learning how to see like an artist.
