Big think with Sam is your chance to explore a social science topic related to your area of interest.
This could be a local issue that affects you and your community, or a global one that affects everybody. It could be historical, or based on current events.
As a learning advisor, I will start with an introduction about how we go about framing and investigating topics in social science.
I will then guide and support you as you choose your own topic, and spend time researching and unpacking it.
At the end of the course, the aim is for students to have produced a piece of work which summarises different perspectives on the issue, and displays their learning and understanding.
