Botanic Margaret Creates

We will visit the Botanic Gardens, Margaret Mahy and other places (library, gallery, along the river), depending on the weather, to play, walk, paint, sketch, read, write, or photograph.  You’ll tell me what you want to do, and I will get you there, set myself at a central point and bring you back to school.

Goals could be:

-sketch/paint/photograph a particular theme ("play", "light", "circles", "organic"...)

-create something each trip (a sketch, a new game, a poem, a friendship...)

-journalling or writing

-plant and animal identification
