Course Description

This course focuses on developing the skills and knowledge required to work confidently in a café or hospitality environment. Ākonga will gain hands-on experience in preparing a café space for customers, delivering professional table service, and producing a range of espresso beverages to industry standard.

Through a blend of practical learning, customer-service, and theory sessions, akonga will learn how to maintain workplace hygiene, follow standard operating procedures, communicate with customers, and manage workflow in a hospitality setting.
