Description
In this UE approved course we will start the year conducting Geographic Research. This is an open entry course and conducting research is a great way to imbed some foundational Geographic skills and concepts.
We need to be able to collect primary data and my suggestion will be that it is from somewhere near by in the city or near where you live. You will collect data, present data, analyse your findings drawing valid conclusions and evaluate your research process.
Research topics could include:
- micro climates in the CBD - Is there evidence of an Urban Heat Island?
- Perceptions of safety in the CBD

Assessment is worth 5 Credits which is marked against a final Research Report.
