Description

This Olympic Weightlifting class is designed to teach the fundamentals of the two main lifts: the snatch and the clean and jerk. Whether a beginner or an experienced lifter, you'll learn proper technique and how to progress safely with your lifts.

Our Olympic Weightlifting training sessions focus on developing explosive power, strength, and coordination. Under the guidance of an experienced coach, you'll learn the intricacies of the snatch and clean and jerk, while also improving your overall athletic performance.

This class is ideal for any athlete looking to build strength and power for other sports. A great class for those who are not interested in team environments.

This could be the start of your involvement in Ao Tawhiti’s Weightlifting Squad. Last year, three individuals ventured to the New Zealand Secondary School Championships in Auckland, with two winning national titles.
