Description
This term will be about what we can't see with the naked eye!
We will be covering all things Cell Biology, we will compare animal cells with plant cells. Explore the different organelles and their functions and roles they have. We will also be looking at processes such as Photosynthesis, Respiration, Osmosis, Cell division and, Enzyme activity. The topics covered in this standard all contain essential knowledge for your continuing Biology education!
The content covered this term is assessed as an External exam (AS91156) worth 4 credits.
Later in the term we will work on a 4 credit internal involving a practical investigation.
