We will learn to tell whether things are alive or not; how NZ's plants and animals "arrived" here; who Charles Darwin was; and what the future holds for our plants and animals on a changing planet. Yes, the focus is Aotearoa, however, if your passion is velociraptors, corpse plants or woolly mammoths there is time for you to get up close - theoretically, obviously.
Be prepared for upfront teaching as well as practical sessions, STEM sessions and mini-assessments.
You will need an exercise book or a laptop/chromebook to write in or on. A device for research would be useful.
