Te Taiao | Geography A Controversial Issue

Geography is the study of places, of te taiao | the environment.   People don't always agree on how to manage the environment, and this is what makes it interesting. Controversial issues cannot be settled by facts alone.  They require discussion, and values judgements.  This term we look at the issue of using 1080 poison to control pests.  What do different groups think? What do you think?  What are the solutions?

Notes

1. The assessment from Term 1 is likely to take the first couple of weeks of Term 2.
2. if you haven't studied geography before, you are very welcome to join this class.  You will study some geography basics, while the current students finish their Term 1 assessment.
