Wednesday morning will be based in the 2.7 lab, Monday afternoon and Thursday morning will be on the level 3 balcony.

This course will explore the science and technology behind some historical weapons of war, including taiaha, patu, mere, wahaika, swords, slingshots, bows, battering rams and trebuchets.

We will try to make various weapons and investigate different design options, how they work, how, when and where they were used, what materials are the most appropriate and why those materials work best.
