In term three, we will look at how nature creates and modifies environments. This will have a focus on lots of different natural processes including coastal processes, climatic processes, and mountain building processes. Then we will pivot to looking at Geographic challenges in the Pacific. What are these challenges and how might people respond to them.
This is all interesting stuff and you may be motivated just for the learning. If you have NCEA goals, it will also set us up for the opportunity to complete one or two 5 credit NCEA Examinations at the end of the year.
NCEA opportunities available include:
AS91934 Demonstrate understanding of how natural processes shape an environment 5 Credits
AS91935 Demonstrate understanding of decision-making in response to a geographic challenge in the wider Pacific region 5 Credits
