In this Level 6 course, you will be exploring training, movement and goal setting through the lens of Te Whare Tapa Whā. Learning how physical activity influences all dimensions of hauora, while developing skills that can support your sports and everyday life.
There are two practical lessons focused on training towards your goal and one theory lesson exploring Te Ao Māori perspectives, wellbeing and training principles.
You will create and follow a personalised training plan based on a goal that is meaningful to you. For example, you may choose to increase your vertical jump for volleyball. Then reflecting on your training experience, analysing how your goals and actions impact your hauora.
