Mātai mātu | Chemistry

This term in 5SCI we will be focusing on all things Chemistry! 

We are going to start at the simplest unit of matter, an atom, then work our way up from there. We will explore what makes up the structure of an atom and how one element of the periodic table differs from another. 

We will then describe how particles interact together and form mixtures, what makes something soluble and how to separate mixtures back out into the individual particles.
