¡Bienvenido de nuevo! In Term 4, we will build on the vocabulary, structures, and conversation skills developed during Terms 2 and 3.
This is a continuing course, intended for students who have already been taking Spanish in both Term 2 and Term 3. It is not recommended for new beginners, as lessons will assume familiarity with the Spanish covered earlier in the year.
Our main focus will be real conversation. Students will practise asking and answering questions, expressing preferences, making plans, and taking part in short conversations and role-plays. We will also explore topics such as food and ordering meals, daily routines, people and places, and describing where things are.
Speaking another language requires a willingness to have a go, even when you are unsure. Students need to be prepared to interact with others, participate in conversation activities, and make a genuine attempt to communicate in Spanish.
Games, challenges, short readings, and creative activities will help us strengthen our vocabulary and become more confident Spanish speakers.
