Pūtaiao ā-nuku | What in the Earth?

This term we will exploring all things Earth Science. We will be looking at the structure and function of the different spheres that make up Planet Earth: The Geosphere, Hydrosphere and Atmosphere. 

When looking at the Geosphere, we will look at what makes up the inner parts of Earth, what the crust is made of and how these things influence things like Volcanoes and Earthquakes. 

When looking at the Hydrosphere, we will look at the Water cycle and how this influences things that occur on Earth like the climate and weather. 

When looking at the Atmosphere, we will look at how the atmosphere creates an environment that supports life on Earth and factors that affect it such as the carbon cycle.
