In this course, you'll learn cool skills including art fundamentals, how to use a drawing tablet, how to navigate your way through industry-level art and design software, and how to create art in different styles.
Term 1 involved studying some short texts and this term we'll begin to explore our visual language skills, and create art with our stories in mind (titles, drawings, character doodles). This term will see students completing the first half of their folios, researching artists and conventions to create work for their graphic novel concepts.
This is a year-long course, and everyone in the class has completed the first lot of learning necessary for starting their Visual Arts assessments. If you are hoping to join for Term 2, see Beth beforehand.
This class will require attention, a keen work ethic and the willingness and patience to engage in large art projects. If you simply must be on Tik Tok and taking selfies, this isn't the class for you!
