Atmospheric science: weather or not?

Our atmosphere: weather, climate, and change

Our focus this term is the atmosphere, but we'll need to interact with other Earth spheres such as the hydrosphere to get the big picture of how heat is transferred around the globe. We start with atmospheric composition, structure, and the processes which drive the weather and climate. Moving on, we cover climate change which involves studying the carbon cycle, the Industrial Revolution, and human psychology and values. It also involves some serious discussions around the current effects of climate change and the adaptations humans and other species need to make.
