This is a year-long course, and students should see Beth if they are planning on joining in Term 3.
During the first term of this course, students began studying a novel - Flowers for Algernon. Students are currently working on a combination of Visual Arts internals, and the portfolio while we continue reading the novel. A grasp of Flowers for Algernon will be necessary for assessments for the rest of the year, so students who are wanting to join should see Beth beforehand.
Students in this course are able to make use of the English component, and engage in English assessments based on the text Flowers for Algernon. It is advised that students familiarise themselves with the assessments on offer at Level 1, to make use of this opportunity.
This class will require attention, a keen work ethic and the willingness and patience to engage in large art projects. If you simply must be on Tik Tok and taking selfies, this isn't the class for you!
