Description
In this course, you'll gain an understanding of photographic conventions using your phone or digital camera. Through exploring photographic practice within a visual art context, and learn how photographs are made and the different contexts in which they're viewed. You'll be introduced to digital photographic processes, including Adobe Photoshop software. By studying established artists' models, you'll gain inspiration and insight to inform your work. You'll have the opportunity to generate and develop ideas to produce a body of work in the form of a folio submission worth 12 credits at NCEA Level One during term 3.
NB: One class a week will be SDL on Wednesdays 1-2 pm.
