For the first few weeks of term, we will finish the work on how to conduct and document valid scientific experiments and then complete the assessment for the practical chemistry investigation internal AS90930 (4 credits - these credits also count towards the numeracy requirement at Level 1).
If you are new to the class Term 3 you will need to work on Education Perfect and AROTAHI until the Physics course begins Week 3.
We will then start the work on the 4 credit physics external "Demonstrate Understanding of Aspects of Mechanics. AS90940" This standard covers all the essential learning required if you intend to study physics at level 2. We will cover graphs and equations for distance, time and velocity, investigate forces acting on objects and learn about energy and its transformations.
Come see Suze if you have any questions about how the term looks.
