In Hangarau we make stuff.
This hapori encompasses all things hands-on and creative. Our focus is making and creating, reflection and a strong community culture. It will be a place for exploration, discovery and collaboration and offer you an opportunity to learn some new skills in technology.
Everyone will fully partake in ALL aspects of Hangarau - this is not the same as Terms 1 and 2.
The four areas of technology you will explore are: Hard Materials, Soft Materials, Food Technology, and Digital Technology. Students will move around every area over the course of Term 3.
At the end of term 3 you will show off and sell your creations at a market day, raising funds to support your term 4 projects.

In term 4, we will have three to four weeks where you can elect a technology focus to work on a mini project in.
