Hangarau Hapori

This hapori encompasses all things hands-on and creative. It will have a focus on making and creating, following the design process, reflection, and a strong community culture. It will be a place for exploration and discovery as well as collaboration and learning how to follow and utilise the design process. 

The types of projects that we will explore include:

• Hard Materials: utilising the tech garage on level 1 
• Soft Materials: sewing, screen printing, threadwork 
• Kai: using the kitchen and climate action campus 
• Creating a work for the Toi Wearable Arts competition

As a collective there will be the opportunity to:

- Move around the different disciplines. 

- Attend workshops that will be either LA and/or Student led

- Participate in related experiences out in the community

- Share your mahi at a Creation Celebration of Learning that will occur twice a term
