Document outlining 2024 Mathematics plan.
Note that levels 4 and 5 are intended to be two year programmes.
Description
For most of this term we will be looking at number skills including whole number skills, fractions and percentages. We will also be looking at some new skills involving significant figures, scientific notation, rates and ratios. All of the skills that you need to master to be successful in mathematics.
In the latter part term we will be looking at measurement i.e. doing measurement conversions, and finding perimeter, area and volume of shapes.

All students will require a maths exercise book for this class i.e. a 1J5 or 1E8, a pen and a ruler.
