Pāngarau I Statistics

This term we will be working on one of the brand new Level 1 standards "Explore data using a statistical enquiry process." This is a 5 credit internal that will be assessed in a report format.

This internal will require students to complete a statistical investigation where they will answer a question using a set of data and use this data to justify their conclusions. 

We will investigate: 

1.) Sources of variation in data. 

2.) Different ways of presenting data i.e. different graphs.

3.) Using our data and the features of the data to justify our conclusions.

To be successful in this course you will need to turn up to every class with a maths exercise book, a pen, and a scientific calculator.
