Business Studies is mainly project based and aims to develop students into independent thinkers and learners who are able to drive their own learning experiences.
Students can develop their own programme of learning or can choose to be guided through the Business Studies Curriculum according to their needs. Topics include marketing, human resources, and business operations. NCEA assessments are available at all levels and Level 3 counts towards University Entrance.
Students who are interested in beginning their own enterprise are also supported in this class.

Students can be involved in this course through SDL if this better suits the student. Support is given through one to one meetings as required.
The length of the course can be determined by the student. That is, students can participate in the course for 10 weeks, 40 weeks, whatever!
