Pangarau I Mathematics - Statistics & Mental Math

Data is displayed in many different ways, sometimes to inform and sometimes to deceive. We will learn how to read and interpret different statistics displays as well as what critical questions to ask. Students are encouraged to share their own examples of interesting statistics, and to carry out their own data investigation using NZ Grapher.

We will also spend a portion of each lesson practising our mental math skills, including learning a few useful hacks.
