Foundation maths

This course is designed predominantly for year 7 and 8 students for whom maths doesn't come easy, or who really want to consolidate their basic concepts. We will focus on number in term one, but will touch on some geometry/measurement for some variety.

Early on we will work hard to get our times tables locked in, as well as developing our understanding of place value.

There will be a mix of teacher directed group learning, 'text book' work to consolidate what was covered and some practical expereinces.
