Description
This is a crash course with Sam in all things number!
The learning in this course is relevant in almost all future study, for growing creative minds, and for living life out in the world.
This class will be taught with pedagogies (teacher strategies) that emphasise group work, creative problem solving, and applications in real world contexts such as budgeting or travelling overseas.
Specifically, the skills we will cover are:
- Strategies for mental arithmetic (+-x/)
- Fractions, Decimals and Percentages
- Factors, Multiples and Prime Numbers
- Integers (Negative Numbers)
This course requires only an open mind, but a book, pen, and calculator would be of great help.
