Description
This is a crash course with Sam in all things number!
The learning in this course is relevant in almost all future study, for growing creative minds, and for living life out in the world.
This class will be taught with pedagogies (teacher strategies) that are structured and self directed. This means having a focus on core skills and keeping a flexible pace so that students don't feel rushed or can extend themselves.
Specifically, the skills we will cover are:
- Strategies for mental arithmetic (+-x/)
- Fractions, Decimals and Percentages
- Factors, Multiples and Prime Numbers
- Integers (Negative Numbers)
This course requires only an open mind, but a book, pen, and calculator would be of great help.
