In term 4, this course is really about tidying up topics that students have already started. There is not really time for students to start a new topic unless they are prepared to be fully motivated and work outside of the timetabled class hours.
Tourism is one of the largest export earners in NZ. It creates a huge variety of jobs and there is high demand for people in the Tourism Industry.
This course develops the foundational skills and knowledge that the Tourism Industry is looking for. It is largely workbook delivered and self driven. If you choose to apply effort and focus, you could easily gain up to 20 credits over the year and broaden your understanding of Tourism as a career pathway. See the Corse Overview for topics.
NZQA-recognised credits at level 2 and 3 are available.
