Description

In this Level 4/Phase 3 mathematics class, students will build strong foundational number skills while discovering how patterns and relationships shape the world around us. Learning is hands-on and interactive, with practical activities that bring maths to life through real-world problems, manipulatives if needed, and visual thinking. Students will develop confidence and fluency through regular practice, while deepening their understanding by explaining their thinking and making connections between ideas.

Lessons are designed to balance skill-building with curiosity and challenge. Games and collaborative tasks will make learning engaging and enjoyable, while targeted assessments help track progress and guide next steps. Students will also have opportunities for extension, allowing them to explore more complex patterns, apply strategies creatively, and stretch their mathematical thinking.

This course supports learners at Level 4, encouraging perseverance, problem-solving, and a positive mindset as students grow as capable and confident mathematicians.

You will need a Math book and pencil case including pencil, rubber and ruler and anything else you like using.
