Note that levels 4 and 5 are intended to be two year programmes.
This course is 5MAT with Sam and Daniel. We will be taking half of the group each, as we did in Term One.
We will build on your foundational skills in Mathematics and take them to useful and exciting places.
This class covers Angles, 2D and 3D shapes, Pythagoras' Theorem, Bearings and Directions, and Perimeter Area and Volume.
This class will be taught in a way that emphasises group work, creative problem solving, and applications in real world contexts. The topics above are super useful for navigation, building and construction, or real life in general.
This course requires an open mind, and some understanding of units of measurement and other skills from 4MAT. It supports preparation for the Numeracy co-requisite exam.
